The Deadly Violin

“The Deadly Violin” is based on a Jewish ghost story I read in a children`s book. It was about a coffin maker who made a violin out of the spare wood he made a coffin from. Then he started to hear it playing by itself, as he started to play it, he eventually became obsessed and crazy. This is actually a childish painting simular to “I think a ghost washed it`s hands in my cup of tea!” The reason why Santa Claus is in both pictures is because one time my uncle and I were talking about if we really saw Santa Claus. We both thought that it would be creepy to see such a thing. – Riel Benn (click on image to view larger version)
